Sorry.... but can you define what it means to be inconsistent style-wise for me? I do not get what this statement is implying... are you saying, if somebody is always trying new things, that they are inconsistant? like let's say if somebody releases 3 albums... the first one is a rock album, the second one is a jazz album, and the third one is a country album... would you consider this stylistic change inconsistent?

This statement has me stumped... I just do not get it... please explain what you mean by this for me....

ah, but what you don't understand is that inconsistent does not mean bad, necessarily. It's a mistake a lot of critics make. Not playing a consistent style is very much inconsistency, but it's not something that hinders anybody or anything.

Inconsistent = not consistent. Meaning, it can totally mean a good thing. As some bands (*cough*Opeth*cough*) are a little too 'consistent'.

nevermind.

A: Fethi Tabet was so good when I saw him live that, for the first and only time, I bought the CD at the concert.
Anyone who`s heard of him is welcome to prove me wrong about " not a single member here knows", of course.

Q: " Shut up and play yer guitar !" is what a fan once shouted at Zappa. What musician really should follow that advice ?

Howard the Duck 06-12-2011 09:09 PM

A. Eric Clapton. Especially his racist rants during his lost National Front years.

Q. Why is Judas Priest's "Nostradamus" hated by almost every fan of the Priest?

A: I'm not a huge fan of Judas Priest, but I have a friend visiting who is. For a scientific explanation, I asked him, "Do you hate Nostradamus by Judas Priest?" and he said, "Oh, **** that album," so I asked, "Why?" and he said, "Because it's pansy rock." So, that's one explanation?

Q: If you could be a super-famous musician with loads of women (or men, if you're a straight female or gay male) and success, but had to have a crippling drug addiction and the understanding that you wouldn't live past 40, would you still be willing to do it?

A: yes, only if the loads of men you're talking about are Jensen Ackles, Tom Welling, Jesse Metcalfe, Taylor Lautner, some random 30 counts of hot hollywood celebrities plus another 30 counts of hot male asian actors... yes, i'd be willing to be anything.

Q: what's that song that's very hard to sing?

A: Birth Ritual by Soundgarden?

Q: Who would've won in a fistfight, Mick Jagger or Jim Morrison?
