Q: What's your biggest pet peeve regarding your favorite artist/musician/band?

A: I always thought it sad that keyboardist Dave Stewart left the experimental music he did with bands like Egg, Hatfield and the North and National Health to do pop music with Barbara Gaskin. It was the best career move he ever did, finally earning him a real income, but it's like he quit when they were at their best. Very sad! Also, he switched to using synthesizers in Bruford which I don't like as much as the Hammond and electric piano.

I thought it was an interesting question so I'll just repeat it ;)

Q: What's your biggest pet peeve regarding your favorite artist/musician/band?

A: The Fall - in general, their lack of polished official live albums released and also Mark's general antagonism towards his bandmates.

Q: What's your least favorite genre of music and why?

Frownland 10-21-2021 07:59 PM

I can't think of any redeeming bro country artists and it was annoyingly pervasive for a while so I'll go with that.

What genre/sound/trend/instrument/whatever would you like to see revived?

SGR 10-23-2021 12:23 AM

Trip-hop. With modern production techniques and trends, I feel trip-hop could have a true revival and people would be interested. Massive Attack has been MIA for awhile, in addition to Portishead. But if there was a true revival, it wouldn't be these legacy artists leading it.

Q: Given what people know about you - what would be one album that you like/enjoy that would be sure to surprise them?
