first, let me say... i really don't base my judgment on labels but simple base on the volume of the songs (between the two genres) i end up liking, Pop.

A: The most I've ever spent was probably for the Chicago Phish show in August 2009. That was before I learned to be cheap. The three of us who went each bought a full case of a beer ($30/each), two six packs of microbrews ($25/person) some other "party favors" ($60/person), GA Tickets ($50), Hotel room in Chicago, ($45/person) Gas, ($40/person) Food, ($30/person) and merchandise ($75/person).

Senmuth. A russian multi instrumentalist, it's like folky, doomy, electronic ambient stuff. He puts out about 15 albums a year.

A: The Stooges. "Punk" might have been commodified by Malcolm MacLaren but it was played long before embarrassing fashion trends became the fad en masse.

A. I suppose better quality control would win out.

because the genre is highly attached to the political movement, my opinion on the music is strongly attached to my political and social beliefs. i don't think contemporary prog folk artist (if there is anyone who truly is) understands what it really stands for. i don't think no one kicks it like the old ones, Prine and even Dylan and the likes.
