These are some songs I could imagine listening to while relaxing on a beach:
Avantasia - Lost In Space
Kansas - Dust In The Wind

And some instrumental guitar songs:
Andy Timmons - Electric gypsy
Andy McKee - Drifting
Steve Vai - Salamanders In The Sun
And finally, with tha most fitting title: Joe Satriani - Summer Song

Yeah, I know it's not very close to Inde at all... But I had some headphones on walking down the beach with some jet skiers going by, and it sounded perfect. House of the Holy has a very summery feel as a whole too (minus No Quarter, obviously)

I've always felt like The Shins' Australia has a really strong summer vibe.

The Beach Boys - "Do It Again"

A nice escapist song. It makes me imagine I have many sunny California beach memories to think back on and enjoy...until I remember that I'm a shark-fearing sunphobe who has rarely visited a California beach!

My strongest California beach memory is of staying at a Pajaro Dunes resort when I was a child. I remember running down to the beach in the mornings to look for sand dollars, which I felt was great fun. I also recall the adults at the resort getting naked and mingling in a hot tub. That was a little bit of a shock for a midwesterner!

I did actually get in the water despite fish fears. My brother saved me from an undertow that was starting to suck me down. :/ He was then my hero. It was nice to know that as much as I sometimes annoyed him, when I needed his help he was there to save me.

That was a memorable trip. I wouldn't mind doing it again.

^ It's a small world, Erica. When I was a child I used to spend my summer holidays in the region where the explorers of Monterey Bay were born. I remember sunny beaches too (after all, both coasts have the same climate).

To complete the "round trip": Mediterráneo (Los Rebeldes, 1988). A song obviously influenced by The Beach Boys:

chorus:
"Mediterráneo, ruta de calor........................Mediterranean, route of heat.
Mediterráneo, al Templo del Sol......................
Mediterranean, [let's go to] the Temple of Sun.
Mediterráneo, noches de luz y color.........................Mediterranean, nights of light and color.
Mediterráneo, tierra de pasión...............Mediterranean, land of passion.
Mediterráneo, ruta de calor.......................Mediterranean, route of heat.
Mediterráneo, eterno verano al sol......................Mediterranean, an eternal summer under the sun."

I was in Jamaica over the summer, and this song was played on loop. Have a listen.
