No need to be like that. Summertime is approaching in the Northern Hemisphere.

This (Will Smith) is one of my favorite oldies. Not a real big fan of Kid Rock. It always reminds me of the song "Sweet Home Alabama" for some reason, (maybe its just me).

Haha, maybe because he stole the riff from "Sweet Home Alabama"? Oh, also he took from Warren Zevon at the beginning.

Sweet Home Alabama is a far better song, anyways:

(And I so agree). My personal view of Kid Rock is, in England he would be known as nothing more than a Fukking peasant. And here in the states he's nothing more than, "white Shiat on top of Shiat! So go and spend your money, I say.

I know it's kinda so obvioius that you may have overlooked it but:

I am there right now on the beach. Might be too laid back for you though?

Not indie but every summer mix tape has to have some song that is bordering on the idiotic with a catchy melody that stays in your head for at least a week. I reccomend "Bag in da Box" (not a new song but truly a summer song if that).

Otherwise I would reccomend "Sittin on the dock of the bay" by Otis Redding. Always reminds me of summer.
