Alan Parsons Project
OK, my favorite band of all time is Styx. Then in no particular order Rush, Boston, Journey, Damn Yankees, Night Ranger, Foreigner, The Cars, Steve Miller Band, Loverboy, etc. & I do still like The Little River Band as well (I actually replicate their CDs), but was curious how well liked, if at all, is The Alan Parsons Project to some of you. I still appreciate the guy.
Just curious.

Seriously?
How is that even possible... Haha, too mainstream I guess. Oh well, great! In that case, I do like their I robot, Turn of a Friendly card and Eye in the Sky. Altough I always want to cut "Fingers burned" off the record. But that will ruin sirius on the other side, so let's not. Apart from that, I think he is a bit overrated. His later work doesn't appeal to me at all and as an audio technician... Well he did do Dark Side, which is pretty neat. But he ****ed up most of his own albums (ammonia avenue for instance sounds awful) and I cannot forgive him for brining that awful saxophone into Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat". The album doesn't sound too good either .
