i'm not sure if this belongs here or in THE LOUNGE.
So, in the car my music is usually heavy. Metal kind. that only changes when i need to listen to something else as required by my job. now, one of my bosses is set to ride with me in the car on our way to a meeting. what is the etiquette? should i put something neutral for both of us? or turn it off?

![]() If your question is serious, it depends a bit on the journey time, doesn`t it ? If it`s a long enough journey to justify some music, I`d stick with the radio. That way you`ve always got the option of disowning the music if your boss hates what he`s hearing. On the other hand, if you put on a cd, you`re pretty much committed to defending it, even if your boss says it`s the worst thing he`s ever heard ! |

pfft, if you wanna go with Sleep, blast "Dopesmoker"... make sure to have a good sized joint for you and your boss as well, don't wanna look stingy with the weed.

I'd just stick to the radio, like a pop station or something, and keep it at a reasonable volume - low enough that you can talk but loud enough so it can be heard during awkward pauses in the conversation
