Miles was always one step ahead of what was becoming popular in terms of jazz music. That guy was such a genius and I have so much respect for him.

I normally dislike threads like this, because you're just going to have a lot of the mega-bands that already get talked about in every thread on every forum on the internet. But I'll play along.

Led Zeppelin
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Rush (yes, even the 80's stuff)
Yes (yes, even the 80's stuff. but not magnification, that album is deplorable)

The thing that makes it difficult is that most bands, even the ones with some really great albums, end up making enough **** albums to ruin the discography as a whole, so I personally don't think bands like The Smashing Pumpkins or Metallica should even be mentioned on general principle.

Not ten minutes ago I found out Yes is playing a show in LA this summer, and I was super excited and all ready to shell out $100 to go, until I did a bit of research and found out Jon Anderson is no longer Yes' vocalist.

Yeah that's definitely bad news, I can't say it would be a terrible show, but it just wouldn't be the same.

It would still be cool to see Howe and Squire work their magic, but something about Anderson's voice just makes Yes my favorite prog band

Who's trolling?

They're good albums.
