Muzak...so bad it has to have it's own genre called elevator music. What else is there to do in an elevator but wait and be tortured by non-music. For once I would like to hear rock music as I try to get to the twentieth floor of a building.

What is this new usage of "shank"? I'm familiar with it in regards to a piece of meat (f.ex "lamb shank") or as a weapon (f.ex. "prison shank"), however "shank" as an insult is foreign ground.

I read "skank", but "shank" is cool, whatever.

Yeah the person said "skank" not "shank". That's quite a popular insult over here for a lower-class bratty female.

I personally like P.O.D. quite a bit. Their music just makes me relax, not to mention I like their sound overall as well. Their new song Lost In Forever is very good, at least to me.

Especially the cover versions. As a kid, I was a part of that generation of those who's parents would turn on the Easy Listening station in the car and get my mind assaulted by musical nightmares. Being a Beatles fan was not easy in those days.

Today, it's possible that some of those Elevator Music stations are that "Soft Rock" (Read: MOR with a better sounding genre name.) station that still is the insult to Music. I don't know about other countries, but it's possibly a regular happening in The States.
