Personally, no matter how much I loved a song I could not play it back to back any more than three times at a sitting, and even then it'd be a bit much. Why don't people like this branch out and look for other similar music, if they like that damn song so much? But no: they'd rather just play it till the file gets corrupt (PLEASE!) or the disc starts skipping or whatever. What did this world ever do to deserve Rihanna, tell me that!

Well, I saw you guys were already introduced to some of Holland's worst **** already, but give Zanger Rinus a break, I mean, he's ratarded, like, literally. There's no excuse for this though:
And on an international level: I hate a lot of rappers but it won't get worse than Soulja Boy or Nicki Minaj, I hate the genre brostep in general and I will never ever like it and pop music is too much of the same and most of the time not even of decent quality. The worst track I have ever heard, however, is: That is as much of a musictrack as my penis is a vagina. Whih it definitely isn't. |

MB's Most Hated
Thought it might be fun to start a thread where people can rant on about bands they hate, and why. I see a lot of hate for Muse --- whom I've only just heard recently, and thought they were okay --- and of course Coldplay, so why not just vent here? Tell us the bands you hate, and preferably give some sort of a cogent reason why --- "Band X are crap" is not really acceptable.
It's not so much just a list of bands that are disliked here that I'm looking to build, as much as the reasons why they are so hated. If this works and gets popular it might be a good sticky --- yeah, I like to run before I walk.... Soooooo.... GO!

Now, I know that someone will link you to the other old thread on this: http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ever-hear.html, and someone will probably try and close this thread.
But can I please ask that instead of asking for the old one to be resurrected we start again on the "Bad Music" concept? The old discussion got boring and recycled the old shouts of "Korn!!!" and "Brokencyde!!!" and even "Rebecca Black!!!" (that got so old). So hopefully there shouldn't be much objection if we start from scratch with better instructions, and I'll start then. I do not and do not wish under any circumstances wish to like COMUS. There is a lot of love for them on these boards, but their music I find so fundamentally opposed to what I consider art and harmony that I profoundly dislike it. Give this a listen: It's short bursts of discord, groaning and overall very difficult to listen to. At about 1:20 it gets a lot better, but I still find it very agitating and unsettling. And the odd part is that this is my favourite Comus song. To me they are prog band that have gone wrong. |

*cracks knuckles*
Lady GaGa - Cheap, pretentious, fake. Beyonce - Doesn't know how to use her voice. Christina Aguilera - Amazing vocals; terrible music/lyrics. Limp Bizkit - ... Michael Bolton - Constipation on a disc. Radiohead - Noise. Thom Yorke's voice is horrendous. Britney Spears - Catchy tunes; no talent. Rihanna - Airhead. Weezer (post 2004) - Rehashing the same crap over and over again. Any boy band other than New Edition. Jennifer Lopez (post 2001) - Cheap, lackluster pop without a voice. Diana Ross and the Supremes - Such happy songs sung by people so miserable. Francis and the Lights - One man art project gone terribly, terribly wrong. The Cardigans - Repetitive and dull. Norah Jones - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Battles - I just don't get it and I don't think I ever will. Neutral Milk Hotel - Another one I don't think has any appeal. Junior Revolution - This 99-cent CD was 99-cents for a reason, damn it. Coldplay - One big fat YAWN. Gotye - Overrated and dull. U2 - Decent music overshadowed by Bono self-indulgence. Linkin Park - Whiney. Broken Social Scene - An instrumental parent of Stars. Needs vocals, imo.

I really don't HATE any bands, as far as I'm concerned, if someone can make it in the music biz, my hats off to em.
BTW I really hate Milli Vanilli. Hows THAT for a dichotomy!? Bazinga!
