I didn't notice that. At the beginning there was sign that said something about Coney Island so I was assuming they were in New York.

see that threw me off too....except for the fact that Coney Island (as in the one in Brooklyn) closed years ago (rip ).....and as sad as this truly sounds.....i think i remember seeing something about a hot dog place in Detroit called Conney Island on the Food Net

Astroland is what closed. Coney Island is the name of the beach area where Astroland used to be and is definitely still open. You may be right about the hot dog place though, I could definitely imagine businesses outside of New York using a name like that.

Yep, Astroland was the amusement park. I've only been to Coney Island once myself. It was... interesting. I've honestly never seen so many ugly people in one place--and I live in Philadelphia so that's really saying something--but I luckily got to see Astroland shortly before it closed.

i went once for the siren music festival.....and i'm in the same boat as you.....glad i saw it before the demolished it....rode the roller coaster.....got lost...got directions from a tranny hooker....and yes plenty of very ugly people....some some great bands for free.....all in all a great trip

on topic....at the siren music festival i saw Har mar Superstar...and he is much like "its so cold in the d" so bad its amusing
