That started out good, but as soon as they got into the rap-y part it went downhill.

Sorry.

I'm a HUGE Nirvana fan.
And that song is just not Nirvana, so I have to agree with you.
The whole Nevermind album has very few good songs anyway..

Yeah, I don't mind the band, but all the hype that song gets for no reason...

Well I don't know if you tried to get to know them,
and they just didn't suit your ears,
but if you haven't, you should listen to some of the garagy, "crappy" stuff they made..as it's just mindblowing. I love their first album "Bleach".. it's my favourite, together with "In Utero". Nirvana is absolutely ear-raping sound, and no "Nevermind"-pop music... You should really try them a little, if you haven't so far. And not the popular songs..the ****ed up crazy **** from bleach or in utero, or one of the outcesticide albums..

i ****ing adore this song

edit: **** i had the wrong video in there. love buzz is not even written by cobain

When it comes to Nirvana I always liked this better than the original.

!

Well, that does severely limit a lot of potential conversations you and I can have about music, but I'm sure there's other songs, genres, or bands we have in common and both like.

This:
The Offspring - Cruising California (Bumpin' In My Trunk) - YouTube.
WTF the Offspring?
This is like Pretty Fly For A White Guy times 10. I don't care if it's supposed to be a joke, it's awful and they made me listen to it. Worst part is that they made it the single. If maybe the rest of the ''serious'' songs on the album were any good I could maybe forgive them.
But no, that album ''Days go by'' Sucked. Maybe not as hard as this since those songs are not pop songs, but it sucked nontheless.

The hype isn't for no reason. That song almost singlehandedly changed the musical landscape overnight in the early 90s. I'm not saying it's the best Nirvana song, and I'm not even much of a Nirvana fan, I'm just saying there is a legitimate reason that particular song gets so much attention.
