The whistling drives me nuts, and the lyrics are crap -- "Well, hot & heavy, pumpkin pie, chocolate candy, Jesus Christ

This song is so ****ing good. I wish it wasn't so popular. /pretentious

Justin Bieber and Chris Brown. Anything with Bieber in is cheesy but a wife batterer? God, no thanks!

ah you are the type to hold an artist's personal life against him for the rest of his career.

MJ was a child molester til his death.

Whitney Houston is still snorting lines with Bobby Brown.

does it transfer over to other celebrities as well?

Robert Downey Jr. is still a cokehead shooting up heroin with that Iron Man moolah.

I never really hate a song until this has happened . . .

One such song that really bugs me is Queen`s I Want To Ride My Bicycle , mainly because Queen have this unwarrantedly high reputation and here they are, passing off a childish, repetitive jingle as if it were a song. To me it`s an exercise in insincerity and cynicism, all surface and no substance - and to be frank, "classics" like We Are The Champions and We Will Rock You are not far behind.

^ Thanks for summing up my attitude to about a zillion romantic songs with your comments on Barbra Streisand.

Thanks also to jackhammer, who saves me the trouble of mentioning I Gotta Feeling by BEP

This made me think of Demis Roussos, who turns out not to be as phlegmy as I thought, but there`s still plenty to hate in this song :-

Yeah, I'm afraid I can't have any respect for a man that has beaten a woman up. Chris Brown is a thug. There was no proof that MJ was a child molester. He was found not guilty, remember and you can't compare the legend that was MJ to Chris Brown.

While listening to Stevie Wonder tonight, I was reminded suddenly of how much I despise and abhor EVERY SINGLE SONG EVER SUNG BY MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!

I cannot stand his music. I never could. When I first heard "Billie Jean" on the radio, I mocked the little hiccupy sound he likes to make in this and many other songs. I also disliked the lyrics, the tune, and even the name, "Billie Jean." My tastes haven't changed since then.

Of course, Michael Jackson became super famous and apparently floated a lot of people's boats, but when I hear his music my boat takes a nose-dive to the bottom of the ocean.

I give "Billie Jean" my top rank of "Most Abysmal Michael Jackson Song Ever." Why? Because he makes that little annoying little hiccup sound, a sound that should be banished from music forever, no less than 24 times! Yes. I counted.

Michael Jackson - "Billie Jean" . . . Most Abysmal Song of All His Songs
