The Electro wave
I wanted to get some thoughts on the Electro wave that's going on right now, and what people thought of it? There was a thread earlier that stated we do not have an "Era" right now like previous generations.. I disagree, because 90% of top 40's music has this feel to it.. I think it's very catch, and the UK has been into it for quite sometimes.
Do you think this is a fad, or just a transition of music into the next generation of digital sounds?

I'm digging it. Ever since I got into music I was always jelous that the 80s and the new wave movement were behind us, but now it's back and better than ever.
I don't know, there's just something about electronic synths that are more apealing to me than crunchy gutairs. |

Any instrument used in Electronic music of course. Electronic instruments are what's known as "fake instruments".
And yes, I definitely notice this wave. I did a comp of one of the harder hitting and aggressive styles in the Beginner's Guide thread. |

a computer/synth/trigger pad is just as much of a "real" instrument than any other instrument out there.
