I saw them open for interpol. It always kind of sucks seeing a brand new band because you know exactly what they're going to play, and they usually haven't quite developed a stage persona, so to speak. It was pretty meh.

Well, as for lineups...

All Tommorow's Parties > Rock In Opposition > Nearfest >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Any other festival, or any I would ever realistically be able to get to.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God

Yes. But Bestival is pretty sweet too.

I'm just going to save cash and go to All Good. Probably be able to see STS9, Tea Leaf Green, Lotus, Furthur, moe., and a line-up that doesn't wholly disappoint.

Man I got the tickets just to see Mumford and Sons. I got to their name and looked no further, I was sold!

Mmm, quite nice to see those live.
I'm sure there's more good stuff there, have to look up the names I don't know.

Oh, there are good acts there. Don't get me wrong. I'm just not about to drop $300+ to go see the acts I'd be excited to see when I could just save the cash and go to All Good for less than $100 and see a whole bill of acts I love.

I'm especially wary about hip-hop / rap artists on the main stage after the Kanye West debacle.

I always go to the Lowlands festival just to taste the atmosphere.
I already have the tickets and I don't know any band that's going to perform there, yet.
Tickets were sold really early this time because the tax for concert tickets has gone up from 6 to 13% in january 2011. So they sold them half december... All 55000 tickets gone in 2,5 hours... Unbelievable.
