Default Special Reques from CoCo

Hey guys,

I didn't post this in the thread for recommendations because I think it'll take a whole thread to find what I need (cause I need a lot of it.)

I'm looking for Hollywood style music. Big horns and brass, general excitement in the air. If you've ever been to Disney's MGM Studios... that kind of music. It's not necessarily music that's used in Hollywood, but music that just sounds like Hollywood or Showbiz.

This is a ridiculously hard thing to describe.

Yes, but not necessarily black and white. I'm DJing the music to a Hollywood themed party and I've already got some Film Noir era jazz and stuff like that, but what I'm looking for now is more orchestral. Kind of like the "exciting" part of the Oscar music.

Kinda like the orchestral intermissions on "Days and future passed"? Then you always have the "Yellow submarine" soundtrack with all those orchestral tracks on the second half.

Heh. I actually used to work there!

How about someone like Equivel or Martin Denny? Not all of their stuff sounds like what you described but I think some of it does.

It sounds cinematic and grand, regardless of how far away its creators are from Hollywood. I truly get the feeling that something is in the air when this comes on.
