I play concerts in the summer with a folk band I play in with my friends. We have a loyal fanbase and a lot of people come to our concerts and also sing along to the songs we wrote and so on. Considering what we are and do (guitar folk band playing our own songs), I consider us a massive success.

That sounds great, tore! The most fan reaction I've ever gotten was drunk people yelling "freebird!"

I had a band I jammed with my junior - senior year of highschool. We were about to audition for this pretty sErIoUs gig at a local club in town when this rumor went around that our vocalist was plotting to kick our guitarist out of the band. This caused us all to panic and we broke up. Well I guess I have to thank highschool for ruining my chances performing with a group of "serious" musicians.

I hit the recording studio later this month, and am talking over a record deal with the producer of alanis morrisette and the 10,000 maniacs next month.

He has some pop stars now, which I cannot think of the names, but he said he has liked it. So we have a chance. No matter how slim I will die before I let it slip from my grasp.
