I know you're a big Arcade Fire fan, and Owen Pallett actually writes and arranges the string sections on all three AF albums, as well as plays occasionally with the band. Heartland is really lovely, and if I had to compare I'd say it's part Arcade Fire, part Sufjan Stevens, and honestly, I thought it was better than the Suburbs this year.
Thank you I was going to check this one out at one time but I forgot about it (nothing unordinary since there is so much stuff I need to listen to that some of the stuff slips my mind from time to time. Thank god the stuff comes back haunting me ) Now it's good time to check this one out. I'll tell you what I think about it after I've listened to it.
