So Pedestrian sent me
![]() and after listening to it a couple times, I really wanted to see what the man behind it all, Jay Munly, looked like. ![]() ... Now it may just be me, but isn't that the coolest damn artist photo you've seen in a long time? It really captures the essence of Mr. Munly's music, too: crisp and clean, yet creepy and engrossing at the same time. This album is a concept album based around the story of Peter and the Wolf, and it really took me a bit of research to fully appreciate the intricacies of the music here. Gothic Country, indeed. Anyone who's a fan of David Eugene Edward's work, either with 16 Horsepower or Wovenhand, will most certainly enjoy this. Thanks a bunch Pedestrian for the brilliant rec. |
