So Pedestrian sent me

and after listening to it a couple times, I really wanted to see what the man behind it all, Jay Munly, looked like.

...

Now it may just be me, but isn't that the coolest damn artist photo you've seen in a long time? It really captures the essence of Mr. Munly's music, too: crisp and clean, yet creepy and engrossing at the same time. This album is a concept album based around the story of Peter and the Wolf, and it really took me a bit of research to fully appreciate the intricacies of the music here. Gothic Country, indeed. Anyone who's a fan of David Eugene Edward's work, either with 16 Horsepower or Wovenhand, will most certainly enjoy this. Thanks a bunch Pedestrian for the brilliant rec.
