Haha Im glad you see why I made it. I love the trading post but this is so much better in that noone has to do a big amount of organizing/pming/work to get everyone set up. Im debating actually just figuring a way to merge them into one super thread and changing the rules of the trading post to closer resemble this free trade form. And by me merging it I mean not me, but someone with power

I'd be interested too - for some reason, I never really got into them either....

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

People will get from this:

What other people like
How other people feel about a posted artist
New artists to discover
Some insight into their fellow poster
what bands are related
why seemingly unrelated bands aren't that dissimilar
access to genres they don't listen to
& much much more!

for Charlemagne

Kiss The Anus Of The Black Cat - Hewers Of Wood Drawers Of Water

i know i have some stuff that you would love....but since we are trying to help people explore other types of music that they may enjoy or respect....i'm going to to the far right field with this recommendation

first off...i have a strong respect for your taste in music...although i may not always like the stuff you post....i love checking out the things you post...you just have a great ear and i respect that

so Kiss The Anus Of The Black Cat a part from having a very silly name is a very complex and multi genre band from Gent, Belgium...although if i had to classify them i suppose i would call them neofolk.....this is a bit darker than what i feel you normally listen to and probably a bit slower....but if anything i think you may be able to appreciate the meaning of the music and the talent of the musicians.....

good luck

and to Janszoon:

Celan - halo

although i am almost positive you will like this....it is a kind of super group with members of Unsane, Einsturzende Neubauten, and Oxbow....so think of those three styles all mashed together

If anyone could send me a good jazzy Hip-Hop album, that would be cool.

Thank you for the kind words and the album, I look forward to listening to it, I'm always open to new styles of music I've never heard. I'm glad you liked The Wild, makes me happy when people dig my recommendations.
Also, don't be afraid to send the stuff you know I'd love

bob. - would you mind sending me the Celan album too? I really enjoyed that video of them you posted in another thread.

And I've got a couple of things I think you might like, if you're interested? Will have to double check you don't know them already, though.
