For Lord of Sushi

This album rocks, its a traditional blues album from the early 70's I believe. I dont know about your taste so hopefully your a blues guy that hasnt heard this! Make sure to at least listen to Blues With a Feelin, one of the best blues standards ever.

I feel everyone should hear this album and what great screamo truly sounds like, it's got male/female vocal exchanges, it goes perfectly from chaotic to calm they even include strings (viola and cello).
well i can certainly say that if more screamo sounded like this i would become a huge fan of the genre.....i love the viola and cello intermixed with just great, well thought out music....this really shines on 'six', 'seven', and 'three'....this album is chaotic as all hell...which in my eyes is great....but chaotic with a bit of jazzy charm....at first i was just a little put off by the vocal delivery but quickly got over that....the lyrics are well written and poetic.....i really like the instrumental interludes....this to me is like a more musically challenging pg.99...it's a shame they broke up

Turquoise Days sent me this

I'd already heard their 2010 album Bam Goes The Knighthood, so I was expecting a "grand" theatrical sound and on that level they surely delivered.
It's a bit different from the 2010 one though, in that it's not as refined, I suppose, it's not so much about bowler hats and canes.
Quite liked this and I'll need to give it more and more listens to fully appreciate it. Thrillseeker is a damn good song. Thanks.

DownwardSpiral sent this to me, well not sent but recommended it to me

I heard the single "The Hunger" awhile ago when it was more popular but I never sat down and listened to this album in full. My favorite tracks are "Dismantle Me", "Coral Fang", "The Gallow is God", "Hall of Mirrors" and "For Tonight You're Only Here to Know". After hearing this album I decided to listen to their self titled debut and I decided that I liked this album more because of the more polished sound that it has.

For Djchameleon

Domo - S/T

This is a spacerock/psychedelic rock album.. kind of in the vain of Hawkwind. Its new from 2010 so hopefully you like it as much as I did.

For bob and dankrsta...

Truart—Volksstrum

Hopefully neither of you have this already but I think it's something you'd both really like. Truart is a one man Ukrainian band featuring heavy martial beats, odd samples, noise and... accordion. There's definitely a strong industrial/neo-folk influence on this album, which is why it made me think of you two. Anyway, I hope you like it.
