Hehe, well I may just be too thick to notice. I'll be giving this a listen and letting you know what I think soon. |
i think as far as political i was thinking mainly of the punk type stuff you listen to....not as a general overall view
to be honest looking at that post....it makes no sense at all :) either way Thrall is good stuff and unlike much of what you are into....and they are political in a very sarcastic way....i guess thats what i was reaching for |
bob., I'm sending you this...
It's the sound of a man rhyming over machines weeping... It gets more awesome as it goes on. Dalek - Absence (Ipecac, 2005) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg |

From Unchained Ballad:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Vi6QfjeIjP...s+1984++fr.jpg On first listen I liked it but it's not really anything I have heard before so I decided to listen to it again and it's a grower. The language is however a problem on an album where I do want to hear what they are saying as opposed to some foreign language albums i have and I can put up with it. All in all though- it's a keeper although the vocals sometimes grate. |

I have finally decided what to send to Jackhammer (thanks again for Jazzmatazz, I loved it). You listen to almost everything, but I've noticed there aren't many early Industrial acts on your last.fm (of the noisy kind like Throbbing Gristle). So I'm sending you:
Monte Cazazza - The Worst of Monte Cazazza http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...nteCazazza.jpg This is a compilation album from this very important eccentric figure of the early Industrial. It's been said he was the one who coined the term with his famous line: "Industrial music for industrial people". He's from San Fransisco, but he found like minded people in Throbbing Gristle in the late 70s. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it. The album opens with Psychiatric Review....yeah :) |
