Not a direct quote as such but a guy I used to be friends with once tried to argue with me that he had a much broader taste in music than me because he owned a couple of Michael Bolton albums.

So because he is willing to listen to crappy music, he has a broad taste in music? Haha, I guess I can't argue...I do tend to close myself off to crappy music. I guess my music taste just isn't broad enough.
