Best of Music 2010 Awards!
Hey Music Listeners,
Earlier this week, I created a short list of categories with artists, songs and music videos that are up for nomination for the Best of Music 2010 Awards! I'm doing this to see everybody give their input and feedback on what was a fantastic year of music with songs we still can't get out of our heads. The categories you all will vote on include best song, best singer, best new singers and more. Now, you the music listener will make the ultimate choice of what was the Best of Music in 2010! Below is the list of all the categories along with 4 nominees in each category which you will pick obivously 1 nominee. If you can't choose a winner, you can determine a tie between 2 nominees and somebody else or myself will pick the winner for that category to break the tie. All categories/nominees were chosen by me. Every nominee and category title is FINAL. Voting will close on Sunday, December 26th, 2010at 12:00pm ( noon ), and the winners will be announced on Friday, December 31st, 2010 ( New Year's Eve ) at 1:00pm. I am doing the same voting/awards for Television also, just go to the "Media" section on this forum and choose "Best of Television 2010 Awards" topic. I'm currently working on a Best of Movies 2010 Awards also. Have fun everybody, Happy Holidays to you all! 1.) Artist of The Year: Justin Bieber Katy Perry Drake Eminem 2.) Best New Artist of The Year: Nikki Minaji Cee-Lo Bruno Mars B.O.B. 3.) Music Video of The Year: Katy Perry ( "California Girls" ) Eminem ( "I'm Not Afraid" ) Rhianna featuring Drake ( "What's My Name?" ) Drake ( "Over" ) 4.) Album of The Year: This is the ONLY category that I will let you the voters decide on who should be nominated and win. 5.) Song of The Year: Usher ( "OMG" ) Diddy Dirty-Money ( "Hello" ) Katy Perry ( "Teenage Dream" ) B.O.B. ( "Airplanes" ) 6.) Favorite Teen Singer: Demi Lovato Selena Gomez Miley Cyrus Miranda Cosgrove |

Ug... If you're just going to put up pop music people then you're basically just imitating the real music awards a lot of people here seem to be ignoring/protesting.
It's a good idea, but I'd redo the lists to accompany the eclecticism of this community. I say make a pop category but if you have a community like this at your disposal, might as well work with the community to build a more varied list. |

 Could be a good idea with a decent format. Naturally, I can't be bothered to be the one to do it.
