Checked a couple people out that I hadn't heard yet.. (Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons). Kinda cool, nothing I'm too into though.

I suppose I really should give Vampire Weekend a try.

I heard quite a bit o' chit chat about them, but just never remembered to give em a listen. They're alright I guess. Not my thing.

To be honest, I think that top 10 was quite predictable. And for all the indie that seems to have made it into the top 40 (some of which I've never heard of), Ke$ha ends up taking the top spot

I bought Vampire Weekend's Contra on CD earlier in the year and i wasn't too impressed with it. There are a couple of good tunes on it but for the most part it's a bit bleh. But you might like it so there's no harm giving it a go.

I'll probably give the self titled a shot first. I'm not into indie rock at all, but maybe this will change that.

Their self titled is a fair bit better but it's still only good at best. I don't listen to Vampire Weekend that much but they do have a few nice tunes.
