Yeah The END had an electronic dance sound as well, but it still had a bit of their hip hop sound left, and yes I agree I love the direction they're heading in.

Their style of hip hop was definently ALOT more tolerable than the likes of Lil Jon, Soulja Boi, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, and countless amounts of other ringtone rappers, but I was never able to get into it still. I do like Outkast though when it comes to newer hip hop.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

In May 2010, The Mars Volta entered pre-production for their sixth album.[29] The only news available on their upcoming album is a statement made via the ORLProductions Twitter page on December 9, 2010, which read: "In LA finishing up the new The Mars Volta album". Another notable comment made on Sargent House's Twitter page says that Deantoni Parks is recording with the band as the drummer.
In addition, other future projects have been mentioned by band members. Rodriguez-Lopez is working on a film documenting the entire history of the band including studio and backstage footage taken over the years. Another project mentioned is a new live album similar to Scabdates featuring songs from Frances the Mute and Amputechture.[12]
