Wait, The Strokes are together? I'm losing my edge.

Yeah can't imagine it being any good.

Bumping this because I found out a mere few hours ago that PJ Harvey, Lucinda Williams and Lykke Li all have new albums due out in the first half of this year.

Things are looking up already then...

The new Fleet Foxes disc is the only one I can think of at the moment, but my god I can't wait.

The Decemberists (i've been hearing great things about it)
Tool (assuming they are going along with releasing it)
Dream Theater (i know i know, they aren't that great, but I have a sentimental liking for them)

The new Alice Cooper album where he's recording 3 songs with his original band. I also learned that there will be a tribute album for Ian Stewart (who played piano behind the scenes for the Stones throughout the 60's & 70's) which will feature Keith Richards on 3 tracks & one track will reunite the Stones with bassist Bill Wyman
