In this day in age, for those of us who buy songs, I don't really purchase full albums anymore.. I get all my music from Itunes, but generally it's a few songs from an artist, not an entire album... This is why artists I feel now are pumping out more tracks, but guys like Bruno Mars will release only 10 songs on an album, but all of very high quality (obviously open to interpretation)

Hmmmm, I see an album as a piece of art. The tracks are on there in that order for a reason. I don't mind a good mixtapes (that can be a work of art itself) but just shuffeling all kinds of music, listening completely random. I wouldn't want that.

Thank you vanilla. You rock .
To be honest, There's a lot of elitists among vinyl. People who want to have every colour of every record and every edition from every country. I just buy it because I think it sounds better and because I like the labels and covers .

Vinyl albums have different mixes than CD albums, it seems. I'm no expert though, but I can hear a few differences every now-and-then. Like how it's almost impossible to hear the conga drums in "Riders On The Storm" on the CD version of LA Woman (or at least on the two I've heard: the 40th Anniversary Mix and some not-40th Anniversary Mix version), but you can hear them easily on the vinyl version.
