Sid Vicious-My way
and it is a throw up with Johnny B Good -Sex Pistols or Johnny Winter....for talent though, I say Winter... and DK did a good job of Remaking Fought the Law..... |
-Tainted Love-Marilyn Manson, Soft Cell does it great though
-Personal Jesus-manson again -and I like his rendition of sweet dreams, but Annie Lennox man, can't be beat.... -also love his version of Bowies Golden Years, but it is not betta -It's My Life- No Doubt now that I see all this, Manson did alot of other peoples songs....well, I think he is just respecting them by giving his young fans a little bit of culture..... |
or he knows that covering good songs will sell...
PDiddy comes to mind....hmmmm. |
metallica: turn the page- Bob Segar Cover, and whiskey in the kar
Guns n roses- live and let die Pantera- cat scratch fever ( which wasnt all that great) this one might sound odd but i heard the Ataris do a cover of boys of summer and it was.........ok i guess...owe well im just namin the ones i know of |

Covering...Better?
as opposed to the other thread, cover songs that you think are better than the original.
First that comes to mind, is: Send Me and Angel - Thrice, i cant remember who did the original but it was horrible. |
pantera - planet caravan, although the original was good too, they lit up cat scratch fever on the detroit rock city soundtrack too.
and this local band monument does a cover of rage against the machine's freedom, ****ing blows me away every time. |
Link 80 - Harvester of Sorrow
1000 Homo Dj's - Supernaught Sunday Morning Comin Down - Johnny Cash The Gambler - Kenny Rogers |
