dunno if this was already mentioned but i think 311's version of the cure's "love song" is much better than the original

The Futureheads version of 'Hounds Of Love' by Kate Bush is amazing as far as covers go.
I don't think The White Stripes have ever done a bad cover either.. |

System of A Down's cover of Black Sabbath's Snowblind is the only one I can think of. Lemme go smoke here in a minute and I'll come up with something.

I actually prefer Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson than Soft Cell.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band's "Blinded By the Light" is better thatn Springsteen's original.
I like the Beatle's cover of "Rock and Roll Music" better than Chuck Berry's version. Laugh if you want, but I have always liked Bananarama's cover of "Venus" better than the original, done by The Shocking Blue. Laugh even harder, but The Bangles did a great cover of "Hazy Shade of Winter" back in the 80's. It kicked a$$. I forget the original artist, though. The Byrds, maybe? I'm not sure. I'm sure there are more I could think of.

And I have a little music-crush on Micheal Buble, and all the covers he perform are phenomenal.
