Okay Psy-fi, get out of my head!!!!!
I actually just clicked this thread for the purpose of posting a cover for one of Nick Cave's other songs (edit: my bad... For some reason I was thinking Nick Cave originally did "hallelujah"; I guess because I don't listen to Leonard Cohen?). Anyway, for some reason, I've been OBSESSED for months, hunting down covers for "The Ship Song." Something about this song haunts me, yet I feel as though the original isn't quite satisfying enough. I still haven't found my dream "Ship Song" cover yet, but this duet by Concrete Blonde comes closer for sure... "The Ship Song" cover by Concrete Blonde Edit: Ive decided to add another cover of this same song...I've never considered myself a Pearl Jam can; however, I find Eddie Vedder's version of "the ship song" quite enjoyable as well... Braid did a great job with this cover, especially the drummer.
