Well, I guess we disagree because I think Nirvana did a great cover of Son Of a Gun, I'm just not into the vasselines as much, I definitaly wouldn't call them bad but Nirvana's cover is more my taste.

And no, I don't hink Nirvana played Plateau better than the Meat Puppets, nor did they do Oh, Me and in my opinion, which differ from many, I like the original Lake of Fire more.

Not heard it, surely ZZ Top's version cant be surpassed, they totally made it their own.

EDIT: I checked out the Dead Kennedys version & I like it, but it still doesnt surpass ZZ Tops cover.

Mushroomhead's cover of Crazy is amazing. The original is by Seal, which is in my opinion horrible.

I like Seal's work including that song. Hes an excellent soul singer. 'Kiss From A Rose' is one that I heard from a very early age.

This song was by no means bad in the first place, but the cover version is ten times better than the original.
