Yes, the version of Easy by Faith No More is absolutely fantastic, but the original song is also very good. For my money, believe it or not, and before it got horribly overplayed, The Ataris cover of "Boys of Summer" by Don Henley was far better than the pseudo-80s synth original. That, and they referenced Black Flag instead of the Grateful Dead. Right on.

drain sth covered motorhead's ace of spades, and made it better than the original (imo) and judas priest covered fleetwood mac's green manalishi much better than the original. in both cases the original wasn't awful but the cover pwned
