I respect the I thru VII table as a reference for creating chord progressions, but i like to get a little dirty when it comes to music. the only chromatic chord progressions i know are :

- IV, IVb3, I (e.g. Amaj, Am*, Emaj)

- I, V, bVII, IV (e.g. Gmaj, Dmaj, Fmaj*, Cmaj)

- bII Dom7th, I (e.g. Db7*, Cmaj)

*Dissonant Chords

Any ideas? Nothing TOO too dissonant...
