When my dad was telling me about them, he said "FOO - gah- ZEE"

Yeah, that's pretty much how I say it now. I'll stick with that.
The Argument is absolutely brilliant, definitely in my top 100 favourite albums.
I should really know how to pronounce their name.

Yeah, that's how I pronounce it, too. Accidentally, it's exactly how everything is read in my language, just as it is written, one letter-one sound. (I mean FUGAZI)

So, yeah, is Kno (kay-noh) or just (noh)?

I did say it "Mince-ee", but my papaw was Welsh and told me it was just pronounced like "Monkey".

Still not completely clear on that one.

The band themselves pronounce it Monkey.

Noh, that's how I've always pronounced it and nobody has ever corrected me in conversation.

I've always heard it pronounced with the exact opposite emphasis from that though, on the middle syllable: foo-GAH-zee.

I've heard it both ways, really.

I tend to pronounce your way more often but my father pronouces it the other way.

For the record here's a clip of Ian MacKaye pronouncing it my way. :p:
