You've never laughed at a mispronunciation until you've heard someone pronounce "faux pas" as "Fawks Pass". I've even heard Louisianians do it, who are predominantly named with French sounding last names like Domangue (doh-mang) and Thibodeaux (tib-a-doh).

Speaking of French sounding, crazy ass Louisianian names, it took me the longest time to learn this one: Authement. I still don't know if I'm sayin' it right. They told me it was pronounced "Otto-mont"

Kind of sounds like it but not how it's described. I think it's just an epenthesis created by Georg's accent. I wouldn't really call either pronunciations wrong. |

Anyone know how to say Dimmu Borgir? I just call them Dimmu, cause I don't know if it's Borgeer, Borgheer, Boargear, or what? |
Why thank you :D I'm not sure what it is.. which adds to its creepy weirdness. And I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Dimmu Borgeer

How about Tom Zé? Is it pronounced "zee", "zae", what?

it's really guttural and only easy to communicate if you're actually saying it out loud to someone. |
