P.O.S. wins 3 to 1. (Although it should really be more like 2 to 1.. I won't mention the reason why...)

Next, a suggestion from Robert Arctor.

Queens Of The Stone Age

vs.

Green Day

Green day. I don't even care. They are fantastic live and QotSA kinda sucked in that live video. I saw them once, like four monthes ago and they played for three and a half hours. They did it well too. Best parts of American Idiot, best parts of Dookie, all the good singles they've released and only a couple of the songs from the shiteous 21st Century Breakdown.

I like Dookie as much as I like any particular QotSA album, but QotSA would make for a much better show (not even considering how much cooler their crowd would be). Homme playing guitar live FTW!

Queens of the Stone Age - 2
Green Day - 1

I'm not really into Green Day's more recent efforts at all, and they would invariably play a boat load of their more recent songs along with probably only the hits from their earlier albums. Not my thing, to be honest. Plus, I've seen the kids who go to Green Day shows now, and it would make me feel ancient. Not my scene.

I'd much rather see QotSA because I'm a fan of pretty much all of their material over the years.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Both bands would be incredible live, and Josh Homme would probably make me laugh a hell of a lot harder than Billie Joe, but I'm a bigger fan of Green Day's output (especially American Idiot ), and from what I've seen, they seem to be better live performers on the whole. Tough choice though.

QOTSA - 5
Green Day - 2

I used to like a bit of both bands. But Queens has always had something special about them.
