Not to support his shitty music, but to support his hand signal, I'm sure he did that on purpose, he is definitely not the kind of singer to put up devil horns.

On topic: I don't tend to find bands boring, some of my favorite artists would easily be considered incredibly boring by a lot of people, especially the slow acoustic ones.
