All great choices. I'd rather actually see Kyuss (QOTSA's predecessor, but you knew that) do Interstellar Overdrive or maybe even Astronomy Dominae (SP?). How about God Speed You black Emperor doing Play That Funky Music White Boy ?

I could see Kyuss doing Hawkwind . Voivod do a pretty good cover of Astronomy Domine.

I wouldn`t mind hearing the Sex Pistols do Lazy Sunday Afternoon by The Small Faces either.

Oh and I should have added that i`d love to hear Radiohead do anything by Can. Apparently Radiohead do the song Thief in their live show sometimes, now everytime I play the Can version all I can imagine is how Thom Yorke would sound singing it.

id like to see the white stripes cover "people are strange" by the doors. that song would suit them down to the ground.
for some reason- LCD soundsystem covering "heroes" would be quite interesting to me.

i would normally say for some punk band to do a cover of an 80s song but i heard most of the songs on the punk goes metal album and they all suck. so i have no idea.

If someone covering the song ruins it for you, then I don't know that you liked the song in the first place.
