My personal favorite Can album. Nothing else even comes close imo. Although Damo's vocals aren't as schizophrenic as I like, they flow very well with the album. Great to chill to, and oddly tranquil whilst funky. Bel Air is one hell of a jam.

One of the most beautiful indie rock albums. I listened to it recently and I can't say that about many from that time.
Also it was proof that Yo La Tengo were no joke. They were sort of an 'old' band even when this came out and they still made better music than their peers and followers. Hell, they still do. I'm going to listen to this album tonight. It's that good. Somebody review this: "Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons" by Blonde Redhead ![]()
