It's still held back by some atrocious tracks ("Guernica", "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows"), but it's admirable, if only for the moments where the sheer aesthetic beauty makes you forget about how generic it can be. No higher than a 2.5 or 3.0, but I have quite a long connection with the album so I give it 3.5 out of amiability.
