I just listened once and went through these opinions in quick succession:-
kind of average sounding/jumping around a lot/ is it supposed to be a rock opera?/nice, strong, vaguely familiar lead guitar at 3 mins in/at last the song has settled down.
All that adds up to about 6/10.

How about Big Electric Cat? A review anytime within the next 4 years would be fine.

I like the funky drums and distorted instrumentals but those vocals ruin it and there's not enough variety beyond that with the instrumentals. 6/10

TVZ - he is always pretty raw and warm i like the sound of the floor tom sounds like its stuff with old dusty blankets lol

^ I liked the driving beat of the drums, and the way they were emphasised with short tantalysing quiet bits before they would come slamming in again. Interesting lyrics too, from what I could make out of them, so I'll be playing this again. 8/10

^ I'm guessing that was K-pop, Lily. Everyone in the video is young and stylish, which helps win over the audience I imagine.
The song has a catchy chorus, and for some reason there is something very satisfying in the way the opening lines land on the words "...like that" at their end.
Personally I didn't like the rap interlude, but it was mercifully short.

Interesting pick, Lisna. I remember Thin White Rope for one amazing track off Moonhead. Love the vocals and guitar work, kind of a western feel to it. Not especially adventurous in terms of melody, but definitely an enjoyable listen just the same. 9/10

This is my favorite TWR tune.

The vocalist is dope and the guitar's aight. I wish the drumming and general arrangement were less standard. Definitely a lot of questionable guitar tone choices too. 6/10

Thanks, rs. They are not a band I know anything about: they are on my "should explore sometime" list.
I recently saw SGR's proposed nickname for Queen Boo, which is the brilliant "Queebs". It made me think that "rs" is not a very satisfactory shortening of your username. How about "Rubs"?

This thread deserves to be resurrected.

Would one call this "indie pop"? I don't know. I do know this Swedish singer (who I had heard of but not heard anything by before) makes intelligent music that's infinitely better than the manufactured pop garbage you hear on American radio nowadays. "All my love has been denied/all my love is unrequited." I'll be checking out more by Lykke Li.
