Review of Batlord. Because I already typed it out. See below:
(Gazebos = 110/10, simply the pinnacle of all human creation.) I met this guy, a HS sweetheart has (one of) his kid(s?), and I can confirm: he is an ass. Or was that one day, maybe he was 'off'? Pretentious idiot, if you ask me. But 9/10 because everyone seems to worship the ground he walks on, and ...he does have good taste in women, at least I thought so at the time, lol. And decent taste in (other people's) music, even if I dont care much for his music. The song you posted really isn't all that bad, I just dont see the die-hard appeal as some fans do, not much talent there ,imo, or originality, oh well, c'est la vie, as they say in Houma, LA, right? Sorry, not really a review of the song, more of the person, but thats all I think of when I see or hear of ol Dax. Anyways... Best Song in Thee World: Tiger Lillies - Crack o' Doom :P "And so your life's been a success, (you talentless hack sludge band mong.) And you have pleasure in excess Don't worry it will all end soon The crack of doom is coming soon And so your future's looking bright And you've reached the giddy heights Don't worry it will soon end It is all shallow and pretend..." Anything less than a perfect 10 and you've outed yourself as a neophyte dilettante. LOL. Last edited by MusicMakesLifeLivable; 03-17-2016 at 10:51 AM. |

The Cigarettes meet Joy Division. Dr Feelgood vocals but gruffier vocals.
Motorama - Wind In Her Hair

I liked the melody between the guitar and bass. the vocals were good but the effect on them were a little off putting. also, while i did enjoy the relaxing vibe of the song at the beginning eventually it became a little too bland. overall it was good. ive never heard them before but they seem like a decent band.

Not only was that great, finding out Danny Elfman was their singer was a cool surprise and finding out he was romantically involved with Kim Gordon was even more of a surprise. Honestly, the best thing i could say about the song is that it made me interested in listening to that album.
