It has that desolate, isolated feel that works well with the art it is trying to depict, or some type of battle scene. In the end it's a bit broken in places, although the background piano/instrumental makes an effort to get through the chaos. A little more melody and the track might be something I could like. 5.55/10.
This is basically an excuse for pure noise. Should go over well. |
Don't count on it, that song annoyed the f*ck out of me. it sounded like a generic dubstep song that would run me out of a club. maybe ppl that dig dubstep would like it but im not one of those ppl. 2/10

7/10 Pretty cool. Really dig the off-kilter instrumentation, and the song has a lot of energy. The vocals are only decent, though.

I dled that demo last night after you posted it and it's some good ****. 9/10

Not everyday I introduce Frownie to something he really digs.

This brings back memories of trying to get my hands down girls pants in my teens. |
It started off great....then did not change. If this wasn't the internet I would have sworn the Record was stuck repeating the same part, I liked it but it didn't go anywhere after the start. Perfectly fine background music for trying to get into girls panties tho. 5/10
I am sure we can all relate to this song. |
7/10
initially i found the vocals a bit too sensitive but the music arrangement contrasted them in a good way and as the song progressed i started to like that he sang it that way. Good stuff. |
The guys can clearly shred, but I felt it was rather pointless. Like, there wasn't a clear point to point direction. maybe I missed it, but I would have preferred it if they had some kind of verse / chorus / verse structure, which arrived in differing ways. I love nothing more than the build up to a verse, and how the artist chooses to progress from there.

Great stuff. I'm a fan of Nels Cline, but never heard about this collaboration. Gonna have to check out the album. |
