Not only was that great, finding out Danny Elfman was their singer was a cool surprise and finding out he was romantically involved with Kim Gordon was even more of a surprise. Honestly, the best thing i could say about the song is that it made me interested in listening to that album.

The backing chorus is cool, as it adds a sense seriousness, or a sense of darkness, that might not have existed outside of the lyrics. Although I didn't spend any time trying to make out the words in detail, I did pick up on the use of "cleverer," and that comes off as a bit of a stretch and/or gimmicky. Initially, I was going to give it a 3.78 because it's simply not my style, but since the group seemed to be putting in a good effort, I'm going with a 4.5/10.

Uh, I guess it's alright for what it is, but I was happy to leave Blink-182 behind in high school, and I don't like the thought that there might be a pop punk revival movement sneaking up behind me with a switchblade.

5/10

Raw and pretty bare-bones as far as the instrumentation goes. The hook is good, but the spoken section felt pretty out of place. The song has a good balance between the instrumental track and the vocal tracks so that one doesn't drown out the other. I thought I wasn't going to like it much when it first started playing, but it was pretty nice after all. 7/10

I liked the chord transition at the beginning and in the chorus but some transitions felt a bit too ambitious and i didn't particularly liked the guitar solo. i don't like Soundgarden that much but it's a decent song. 6/10

Sounds like more of a quickie. A bit empty, but it's not like it was trying to be anything else, so I won't be too hard on it.

The cheesy, Eurotrash beat was fun as hell, but the vocals were just kinda there. It all worked, though, so... 8/10

I just want to say that I despise clapping beats. Starts off with a nice melody, the drop is a pretty standard synth climax, not really my thing. 3/10

@bat doesn't really need any review because what kind of sick **** doesn't like The Animals? 9/10

My brother had a few house parties where he would play "House of the Rising Sun" in his mixes. Let me tell you now, that that song is not a good song for a house party. It is not. What he was thinking is beyond me.
