The riff from "Revolution" is from Pee Wee Crayton's "Do Unto Others", sorry can't find a sample on the internet.
Jeez! I knew about the first two but I'd never heard of that Revolution rip off before. It's on spotify and i was shocked the instant it came on. It's identical.
Some other lennon ones are
I want you (ssh) is a rip off of the riff in this -YouTube - Mel Torme - Comin Home Baby

The piano riff from Hey Bulldog is strikingly similar to the one from Money (that's what I want)
This song by Can is uncannily similar to How? on Imagine-YouTube - Can - Deadlock
He's also pulled off the stunt of ripping off Three blind mice for All you need is love AND Instant karma

He must have really liked "Three Blind Mice", it's also used in "My Mummy's Dead".

Dude, guys, listen to this. I stumbled across this classical piece of music when I downloaded a giant collection...

and it immediately reminded me of this...

^that's because Robbie Krieger was a classically trained flamenco guitarist who was playing a very slightly twisted version of La Catedral (a traditional classical guitar piece) as the intro to Spanish Caravan. they're not similar, they're the same piece. hardly plagiarism in this case.

I figured the similarity was intentional. That's a cool bit of trivia

it's not plagirism because they admitted to it, and identified that it was written by someone else. it's actually very common for modern (well 1950's and up) to use classical pieces within their songs, two songs i know that use the melody from ode to joy:

The Killers - "Mr. Brightside"

Bright Eyes - "Road To Joy"

people don't really call it plagirism when it's an identifiable riff from a classical song, people usually consider more as a little tribute to the original composer.

The killers Mr.Brightside always sounded like a plagiarism of Bowie's Queen bitch

I was going to say Led Zep too, not that it makes them a bad band though.
