John Lennon was known to lift a bit from a song now & then.
The riff for "I Feel Fine" is from the Bobby Parker tune "Watch Your Step". "Come Together" borrowed a line from Chuck Berry's "You Can't Catch Me". The riff from "Revolution" is from Pee Wee Crayton's "Do Unto Others", sorry can't find a sample on the internet.

I'm on internet where Youtube videos take hundreds of years to load - are you saying that Gentle Giant was ripped off by someone, or that Gentle Giant ripped someone off?

I'm saying that Led Zeppelin ripped off not only Spirit but also Gentle Giant in the making of Stairway to Heaven.

I think you'll find they were covers and all the original artists were credited.
