Led Zep's ripping off Spirit and poor Randy California is a standout for me in that list. It's made worse by the fact that Stairway to Heaven is such a friggin' huge song.

The most recent drama I can remember was the Coldplay plagiarizing Joe Satriani case.

But then of course there were some who said Satriani himself had stolen his song from Los Enanitos Verdes ..

Plagiarizing to some extent seems a very common thing to me.
