Hi!
I'm a big Jack White fan and I was lucky enough to get a chance to work in a studio in Nashville that had known him quite well. They had a lot of great things to say about him. Apparently he's not your typical run of the mill megalomaniac but instead, professional and insanely talented (deciding between recordings was very tough as each had its own special kick to it). A lot of respect to a musician like that |

Okay, upon reflection, I think 'Eccentric' might be a better word. You got me. I think that may be why I am having a bit of difficulty slipping easily into Jack's solo record - it's kinda missing that sense of primitive eccentricity that makes the Stripes music so immediate and charming. I'm sure he intended to distance himself from that sound though.
